Becoming a Division Coordinator is one of the most rewarding ways to support Moose Jaw Little League. Coordinators play a key role in creating a positive, fun, and well-organized baseball experience for players, coaches, and families. You will be part of a supportive board that works together to ensure every division has a great season. What you will Do: As a Division Coordinator, you help oversee your division and keep things running smoothly throughout the season. You will work closely with the Board, coaches, and parents, all with access to guidance and support whenever you need it. Your key responsibilities include:
1. Helping ensure your division operates in alignment with league policies
2. Attending board meetings or submitting items in advance when unable to attend
3. Serving as the main contact for coaches and parents
4. Bringing any conflicts or concerns to the Board so issues can be handled consistently and respectfully
5. Working with the registrar to monitor registration numbers
6. Recruiting and confirming coaches after registration
7. Ensuring all head coaches complete their required criminal record and vulnerable sector checks (reimbursed by MJLL)
8. Coordinating team equipment, jerseys, and keys, and ensuring all items are returned at season end Division-Specific Responsibilities for Intermediate, Junior, Senior (IJS) include organizing and running the division draft.
Division Coordinators are essential to creating a great baseball season. You will help kids learn the game, support volunteer coaches, and contribute to a strong, connected baseball community in Moose Jaw. You do not need prior experience, just commitment and a willingness to help. Our board and fellow coordinators will support you every step of the way.
