How to become an umpire

Deciding to become an umpire is a good way to stay involved in the game of baseball, but it is also a big commitment. If you want to become an umpire, make sure you really want to take the responsibility. If yes, read on to become an umpire.  You must be at least 10 years old.

There are Introductory Umping Clinics in early spring to help set you up for success. Once you’re registered as an umpire with the Moose Jaw Umpire Association, you will receive an email with the exact dates and times of the clinics.
